All our miniature donkeys come from major breeding farms in Texas, hence their name “American donkeys.” Their origins are prestigious, allowing us to produce purebred miniature and micro-miniature foals free from inbreeding or malformations.

All our foals are registered in the various American and French registries.

Just like miniature horses, toy horses, Falabellas, miniature ponies, mini Shetlands, and other miniature equines, miniature donkeys are a breed in their own right.

The temperament of miniature donkeys is not comparable to that of miniature horses or even miniature ponies or mini Shetlands; donkeys are much closer to their handlers and show a great deal of intelligence and reflection, contrary to common belief.
